Regional carrier Star Air will launch a new air service connecting Belagavi and Mundra via Mumbai from July 2, expanding connectivity between Karnataka and one of Gujarat’s key commercial and port hubs. According to The Times of India, the service will operate five days a week—Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday—providing passengers with seamless connectivity between the three cities.

The new route is expected to benefit business travellers, traders and industrial stakeholders by improving access to Mundra, home to one of India’s largest ports and a major industrial centre. The flight will depart Belagavi at 8:20 a.m., arrive in Mumbai at 9:25 a.m., and continue to Mundra at 9:55 a.m., reaching its destination at 11:40 a.m. The return service will leave Mundra at 12:10 p.m., arrive in Mumbai at 1:55 p.m., and depart again at 2:25 p.m. before landing in Belagavi at 3:35 p.m. The airline said the route will strengthen regional connectivity and support economic ties between the two regions.
