Fraud alert! Noida Airport issues advisory against fake job offers; here’s what to do

Noida International Airport authorities on Saturday issued a public advisory against fake employment opportunity offers at what is set to be the second international airport catering to the National Capital Region. In a post on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), NIA said that it came to its notice that some “unauthorised individuals/agencies” are disseminating “fake job offers/opportunities at the airport”, asking people to be alert. The Noida Airport is one of the largest greenfield airport projects in the country.

Noida International Airport does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process, it wrote.

Urging the public not to respond to such unauthorised posts or communication, NIA noted that all job opportunities are available only on its official website, niairport.in.

The airport is yet to start commercial operations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Noida International Airport last month, marking a significant step in the Uttar Pradesh growth story and the future of the country’s aviation space. Phase 1 is developed with an investment of around Rs 11,200 crore.

Located in Jewar, the airport is developed under a public-private-partnership (PPP) model.
