To fill up 180 posts of pilots, Air India hiring CPL holders to absorb as Trainee Pilots. Of the 180 vacancies, half will be filled from CPL holders from IGRUA and for remaining 90 openings, candidates having CPL from other institutions can apply.
Academic qualification is 10+2. MAximum age limit is 35 and for reserved categories it is 40.
The following are the technical qualification:
- Current CPL/ATPL
- Current Flight Radio Telephone Operator’s Licence
- Current C.O.P./R.T.R.
- Current Class-I Medical
- Valid ELP on CPL/ATPL
- Multi-engine Endorsement: with a minimum of 25 hours on Multi-engine aircraft (10 hours can be completed on an approved multi-engine Simulator)
- Instrument rating on Multi-engine aircraft
Eligible candidates will have to appear for a written test comprise of aptitude and technical knowledge tests. Candidates qualifying the test will have to take a psychometric test. Only those found fit as per the standards of this will be called for interview.
