Bhatkali youngster gets pilot’s license in Maldives

Bhatkal: In yet another honour for the community and the town of Bhatkal, a son of Bhatkali soil, Mohammed Adil s/o Mr. Saleh Khailfa succeeded in attaining a commercial pilot license to become one of the few pilots in the community.

Since childhood, Adil had a determination to touch the skies and fly in the air. He completed his primary education till 7th in Measi matriculation school, Chennai after which he was enrolled in Saint Bides High School, Chennai where he studied till 12th. Later he joined the Madras flying club where he trained for two years. In 2011, he joined the Asian academy of Aeronticals training centre in Maldives and trained there. He also completed his BA (criminology) through correspondence while his pilot training.

  2. Well done Adil, although I did pay a visit to Maldives last June but never knew it had Asian Academy of aeronautics. Can any one through some light on the Academy?
