Rs 80 crore sanctioned for India’s first ever Aviation University

Mumbai: The civil aviation ministry’s dream to build the first Aviation University in the country is likely to start from next month. According to ministry officials rupees 80 crores was sanctioned last week towards construction work of the university at Fursatganj (UP) in place of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academy.
According to civil aviation ministry officials, the decision was taken last week at a high-level meeting under the chairmanship of civil aviation minister Ajit Singh.
