Walk-in to get selected as Air India Express Airline Attendant

Air India Express, the budget arm of NACIL is now looking for Flight Attendants. In a notification dated July 29, the Air India Charters Ltd invites application from both female & male candidates aged 18-24 to fill up 69 vaccancies in Kozhikode / Kochi / Thiruvananthapuram / other Air India Express stations.
( In case of company requirement, these employees may also be required to undertake ground duties at different stations, at the Airport / office). Of the total  vaccancies of 69, 64 are for female candidates.

Walk-in interviews will be held on August 24, 2010 between 09.30 am to 4.30 pm. at

The applicants should be either graduates or have passed XII Standard with min. 3 years Diploma (equivalent to Degree) in Hotel Management & Catering Technology from Institutes affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management.
The candidates are required to have  clear complexion and they must be well groomed & dynamic. Should have a  a friendly hospitable disposition.Applicants will be required to have a valid Indian Passport at the time of joining.
The selection is done on the basis of Walk-in interview, group discussion & medical examination. While walking-in take along the application form (available here ) duly filled up,  application fee  ( Rs.300 as A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Air India Charters Ltd.”, payable at Mumbai, which is not refundable. Please mention your Full Name on the reverse of the Demand Draft), and one set of Xerox copies of supporting testimonials. No fees to be paid by applicants belonging to SC/ST Communities / Ex-Servicemen. Only those candidates who are in possession of results of the qualifying examination are eligible to walk-in.
Candidates belonging to OBC categories, at the time of application, must submit a self-attested photocopy of the Certificate recently issued by the Competent Authority, in the format as prescribed by Govt. of India. The Certificate should also contain the “Non-Creamy Layer” Clause.
Original Certificates are required to be brought along for verification purpose only, but should not be submitted / attached along with the Application.
Female Candidates must come well groomed and must wear a saree. Male Candidates should be dressed in formal attire.
Candidates found suitable and shortlisted, will be appointed as per requirement of the Company, initially on Training, for a period up to 06 months, at Mumbai, on a stipend of Rs.8,000/- per month.
On successful completion of Training, candidates will be appointed on fixed term contract basis for a period of three years, which could be terminated at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract, and / or in the event of unsatisfactory performance or Company requirements. The job is transferable to any station in India.
Gross emoluments expected to be approximately Rs.17,000/- p.m. during the 1st year. Annual Retention Bonus, as applicable, is also payable.
