Kingfisher opens training school in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: In a bid to meet up the growing demand for skilled manpower in aviation sector, the Kingfisher Training Academy (KTA), promoted by Kingfisher Airlines, has opened its training school in Hyderabad, after Mumbai.
Speaking to media, the executive vice president of Kingfisher Airlines Rajesh Verma said that the training academy is now planning to open about 13 training centers across the country during 2008-09. “We are also looking for franchise model for spreading the training schools across the country,” Verma said.
The academy is planning to set up about 25 centres in the country by 2010, besides it also plans to establish similar training schools in SAARC countries and Middle East.
Mumabi branch, which has completed one academic year, has trained about 200 students. Out of which, about 76 candidates have already found placements in Jet Airways, Spice Jet, Go Air, IA and Kingfisher, Verma said.
