At present, the fullfledged airlines pay higher salary than the low-cost carriers.<br \/>The main reason for employees of both airlines to seek jobs in competing airlines is the route rationalisation planned by both airlines. Once it happens, it would mean lesser requirement of manpower.<br \/>Officials of Spice and GoAir say as they are planning new flights, they would need more people. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We have no plans of layoff of a single employee. The company has a proper procedure to hire people unlike others who hire in advance for future routes expansions ,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said SpiceJet HR vice-president Surajit Banerjee.<br \/>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We will hire more people as SpiceJet is increasing routes in the domestic space,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said SpiceJet director Kishore Gupta. The Gurgaon-based airline operates 94 flights daily to 16 cities. GoAir senior general manager-business development Indranil Roy agreed. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153As our routes would increase , we will hire more.
