{"id":510,"date":"2008-02-05T04:19:00","date_gmt":"2008-02-05T04:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/avicareers\/?p=510"},"modified":"2008-02-05T04:19:00","modified_gmt":"2008-02-05T04:19:00","slug":"dae-plans-innovative-pilot-course-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2008\/02\/dae-plans-innovative-pilot-course-tests.html","title":{"rendered":"DAE plans innovative pilot course tests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: rgb(153, 0, 0);\">Dubai:<\/span> The Dubai Aerospace Enterprise University (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dubaiaerospace.com\/portal\/DIVISIONS\/University\/tabid\/70\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">DAE University<\/a>) plans to dramatically alter the way the aviation industry views how pilots and technical personnel are qualified for employment.<br \/>Through the planned DAE Flight Academy and DAE College, the university&#8217;s divisions for its accelerated flight training and licensed technical programmes, graduates will be better-prepared airline and airport personnel.<br \/>Offering one of the most comprehensive aviation and flight training programmes, with a mix of technology and innovative techniques, the academy and college will raise the bar for <a href=\"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2008\/01\/dae-university-to-conduct-roadshows-in.html\">civil aviation education worldwide<\/a>.<br \/>New curricula being developed by DAE Flight Academy and DAE College in key fields \u00e2\u20ac\u201c flight, aeroengines\/airframe maintenance, air traffic control and meteorology \u00e2\u20ac\u201c will confidently meet the stringent licensing standards of national and international aviation regulatory bodies.<br \/>They include General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the UAE, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).<br \/>But the program design and the approach \u00e2\u20ac\u201c as well as the curricula \u00e2\u20ac\u201c will be quite innovative, said a university official.<br \/>Speaking of the licensed professional programmes to be offered through DAE College, Dr Raymond Thompson, dean of the College of Aero and Astro Sciences, explained: &#8220;These innovative curricula make extensive use of simulation technologies and synthetic learning, using computer-based technologies and software.
