{"id":397,"date":"2007-11-21T17:24:00","date_gmt":"2007-11-21T17:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/avicareers\/?p=397"},"modified":"2007-11-21T17:24:00","modified_gmt":"2007-11-21T17:24:00","slug":"indian-students-death-faulty-fuel-filter-suspected-in-us-plane-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2007\/11\/indian-students-death-faulty-fuel-filter-suspected-in-us-plane-crash.html","title":{"rendered":"Indian student&#039;s death: Faulty fuel filter suspected in US plane crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: rgb(153, 0, 0);\">Boynton Beach<\/span>: Federal investigators found an improperly assembled fuel filter on the single-engine plane that <a href=\"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2007\/10\/two-indian-trainee-pilots-die-in.html\">crashed on a golf course west of the city last month<\/a>, killing a flight instructor and an Indian pilot student and critically injuring another Indian student.<br \/>An official with the National Transportation Safety Board also discovered a &#8220;fine-grained black particulate matter&#8221; in the Piper PA-28&#8217;s fuel pump, according to a preliminary report the agency released today.<br \/>Meanwhile, the sole survivor in the crash, which happened about 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 on a putting green in the Quail Ridge Country Club off Golf Road, is recovering in a rehabilitation center at Delray Medical Center.
