{"id":395,"date":"2007-11-20T09:21:00","date_gmt":"2007-11-20T09:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/avicareers\/?p=395"},"modified":"2007-11-20T09:21:00","modified_gmt":"2007-11-20T09:21:00","slug":"sc-issues-notice-to-centre-on-air-india-cabin-crews-plea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2007\/11\/sc-issues-notice-to-centre-on-air-india-cabin-crews-plea.html","title":{"rendered":"SC issues notice to Centre on Air India cabin crew&#039;s plea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: rgb(153, 0, 0);\">New Delhi<\/span>: The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to the Centre on a petition challenging the <a href=\"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2007\/10\/female-crew-members-eligible-for-in.html\">Delhi High Court&#8217;s judgement<\/a> that allowed appointment of female cabin crew members as In-Flight Supervisors (IFS) in the national carrier Air India.  <br \/>For the last three decades, the posts of IFS has been reserved for flight pursers (male cabin crew members).  <br \/>A bench headed by Justice H K Sema while continuing the status quo order passed earlier observed that it would not apply to post-1997 recruitments.
