And one of the highlights of the facelift was the introduction of &#8216;flying models&#8217;- the young, glamorous and all-female cabin crew handpicked by Mallya himself.<br \/>But now two years later the increasing number of male flight attendants find themselves deprived of the opportunity to be a part of the cabin staff of one of the country&#8217;s best paying airlines.<br \/>While Kingfisher pays a salary of Rs 30,000 per month, Jet pays Rs 28,000 and Deccan pays Rs 25,000.<br \/>Kingfisher argues that it has perfectly good reason to hire an all-women staff.<br \/>&#8221;Women are traditionally associated with warmth, hospitality and symbolise a welcoming attitude.
