{"id":2826,"date":"2026-04-18T04:17:01","date_gmt":"2026-04-18T04:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/?p=2826"},"modified":"2026-04-18T04:17:01","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T04:17:01","slug":"apply-now-to-join-air-india-express-as-a-captain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2026\/04\/apply-now-to-join-air-india-express-as-a-captain.html","title":{"rendered":"Apply now to join Air India Express as a Captain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Air India Group has invited applications from Experienced B737 Type Rated Pilots Captains (PIC) and Non Type Rated Captains (PIC), for Air India Express.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>Experienced Type Rated P1s <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThose who are below the age of 62 years, with a valid B737 PIC Endorsement and having minimum 100 PIC hours on B737 Family Aircraft can apply.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><strong>Non-Type Rated P1s<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nShould be a Captain with minimum 500 hours on Commercial Jets<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nCaptain with total flying experience of 3000 hours, airline experience of 1000 hours on Turboprop and minimum 500 hours as PIC with Scheduled Operator<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nCaptain with total flying experience of 3000 hours, airline experience of 1000 hours on Turboprop and minimum 1500 hours as PIC on Non-scheduled Operator with a AUW exceeding 15 tons<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\nCaptain with minimum 500 hours on Military Jets &gt; 70 Tons. (IL-76, C-17, B777, P8).
