{"id":2642,"date":"2021-01-18T20:11:36","date_gmt":"2021-01-18T20:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/?p=2642"},"modified":"2021-01-21T20:14:19","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T20:14:19","slug":"dgca-issues-fresh-guidelines-on-cross-country-training-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2021\/01\/dgca-issues-fresh-guidelines-on-cross-country-training-flights.html","title":{"rendered":"DGCA issues fresh guidelines on cross-country training flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chandigarh: To address operational constraints and enhance the safety aspects, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued fresh guidelines on the conduct of cross-country flights by training institutes for the issue of private or commercial pilot license.<br \/>\nThe civil regulator has directed flying training organisations to incorporate the new guidelines in their training syllabus within three months and get the revised operating procedures approved from it.<br \/>\nUnder the Indian Aircraft Rules, it is mandatory for trainee pilots to undertake cross-country flights by day and night and pass the required tests.
