Air India is now recruiting Flight Dispatchers on Fixed Term Contract basis in three categories.<\/p>\n
Category 1<\/strong>: Candidates holding Current DGCA (India) Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on Jet Aircraft. These candidates will be initially engaged as Sr. Trainee Flight Dispatcher and upon obtaining DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on Air India\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fleet, they will be engaged as Flight Dispatcher.<\/p>\n Category 2<\/strong>: Candidates whose DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on Jet Aircraft has lapsed in the preceding 5 years. These candidates will be initially engaged as Trainee Flight Dispatcher and upon successful completion of requisite training and obtaining DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on Air India\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fleet, they will be engaged as Flight Dispatcher.<\/p>\n Category 3<\/strong>: Candidates who have passed Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Course from an approved Institute and have undergone \u00e2\u20ac\u0153On the Job Training\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and are yet to obtain the approval of DGCA. These candidates will be initially engaged as Junior Trainee Flight Dispatcher and upon successful completion of requisite training and obtaining DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on Air India\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Fleet within 03 attempts (Approx. 1 \u00c2\u00bd years), they will be engaged as Flight Dispatcher.<\/p>\n As training requirements are different for all the above 03 categories, separate panels would be drawn up for each category of candidates and vacancies will also be filled in above order.<\/p>\n Number of vacancies<\/strong>: 70<\/p>\n GEN-30 Note<\/strong><\/em>: Those who work currently in subsidiary companies of Air India as Flight Dispatchers need not<\/strong> apply.<\/p>\n Eligibility (As on 31.03.2019)<\/strong><\/p>\n 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.<\/p>\n Process for walk-in and selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n Candidates should report for registration followed by personal interview on same\/subsequent day\/s, at the following venues and dates between 10:30 hrs. to 12:30 hrs.<\/p>\n O\/o Executive Director (Operations), O\/o In-Charge Flight Dispatch Take these along while attending the walk-in<\/strong>:<\/p>\n i) A duly filled in Application Form<\/a><\/strong> in this prescribed format which is available here<\/a> <\/strong>on the careers section of Air India website.<\/p>\n ii) A recent passport size photograph pasted in the space provided in the Application Format iv) A Demand Draft for an amount of Rs.1,000\/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in favour of Air India Limited payable at Delhi being the Application Fee (Application Fee not applicable in case of SC\/ST Candidates). Please mention your Full Name & Mobile No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft.<\/p>\n v) Candidates belonging to OBC Category should be in possession of Category Certificate in the prescribed Format meant for Central Government employment along with Non-Creamy Layer status. Please note that the validity of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Non-Creamy layer\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Certificate should not be older than 6 months from the date of eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n vi) Applicants serving in Government\/Semi-Government\/Public Sector Undertakings or Details of posting, taiming, stipend, salary etc, if selected:<\/strong><\/p>\n On appointment, candidates will be positioned at Delhi\/Mumbai. They may however, be transferred at any Station\/Base on Air India Network based on operational requirements at the sole discretion of the Management.<\/p>\n Selected candidates would be required to undergo requisite Company Orientation Training followed by obtaining DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on fleet of Air India. Please note that the services of candidates joining as Junior Trainee Flight Dispatcher (Category-3) above, i.e., those who have done the Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s course and have undergone On the Job Training and are On completion of training successfully and acquiring DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on the fleet of Air India Limited, candidates will be engaged on a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 05 years or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The Fixed Term Contract is however, extendable depending upon the performance and age of the candidate and Company\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s requirement.<\/p>\n Stipend:<\/strong><\/p>\n During the training period, selected candidates will be paid monthly Stipend as under: Salary<\/strong>:<\/p>\n On completion of training successfully and acquiring DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on the fleet of Air India Limited, candidates will be paid approximately GROSS Emoluments of Rs.70,000\/- per month. In addition, Employer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Contribution towards Provident Fund will be extra and the same will be applicable after completion of one year of Fixed Term Engagement as Flight Dispatcher.<\/p>\n Increment: There would be an annual increment of Rs.5,000\/- per month in the Gross Emoluments (CTC) after completion of each year of Fixed Term Contract period.<\/p>\n Loyalty Bonus: Candidates will also be eligible for payment of Loyalty Bonus of Rs.60,000\/- per year after completion of each year of Fixed Term Contract period.<\/p>\n Bank Guarantee:<\/strong><\/p>\n Selected candidates will be required to submit a Bank Guarantee for an amount of Rs. 2,50,000\/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) from a Nationalized Bank for a period of 05 years at the time of joining training. In case, the candidate fails to obtain DGCA Flight Dispatcher\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Approval on the fleet of Air India Limited in the permissible attempts or leaves the Company before completion of 05 years tenure of Fixed Term Contract, the said Bank Guarantee in whole will be invoked by the Company.<\/p>\n
