Coimbatore: A city-based institution has tied-up with the Madras Flying Club to offer aviation courses and aviation-related diploma courses.<\/p>\n
Park Group of Institutions will offer pilot training courses, which can be undertaken by airline pilots and flying enthusiasts, sources said.<\/p>\n
The one-and-a-half-year-long pilot training course will earn the candidate a pilot licence, honorary secretary of Madras Flying Club Jacob Selvaraj said. The candidate can convert it to BSc Aviation degree by extending the course by another one-and-a-half-year and doing a project. \nThe institution will also offer one year diploma courses in assistant flight dispatcher, cabin crew training, airlines ground operation, aircraft maintenance engineering internship and customer service agent courses as part-time, full-time and add-on courses.
