In the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/indianaviationnews.net\/careers\/2007\/07\/2-flight-school-planes-collide-3-dead.html\">the recent crash<\/a> of two training aircraft near Manila in the Philippines \u00e2\u20ac\u201d in which two Indian trainee pilots were killed \u00e2\u20ac\u201d the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) is planning to put under the lens all licences obtained from flying schools there.<br \/>The move comes close on the heels of the European Union\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ban on Indonesian carriers flying into the continent, citing safety concerns.<br \/>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We are trying to verify the licences obtained from these countries, particularly the Philippines, by pilots currently flying in India.
