Hyderabad: GMR Aviation Academy, the aviation-skills development arm of GMR Group, has been recognised as the Regional Training Centre of Excellence by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).<\/p>\n
The Academy is the only one of its kind in India to have been conferred with this status by ICAO and as Global Training Hub by the Airport Council International.<\/p>\n
Established at Rajiv Gandhi Airport, Shamshabad, Hyderabad in 2009, the Academy provides professional training and enhancing the knowledge and skills of GMR Airports\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 personnel. It offers 3-6 months certificate programmes, ICAO membership programmes and several other coveted modules for the aviation aspirants.
