Shekhar has said that work on the elevated highway on Bellary Road in front of Jakkur Flying School should be stopped immediately to facilitate normal functioning of the flying school.He told presspersons that in 2009 and 2010, authorities of the flying school had objected to the building of the elevated highway there, and had suggested construction of a underpass instead.Mr. Gulihatti Shekhar said that the flying school has trained many pilots who are now employed well in India and abroad.
