They will be hired on contract basis and will have to start work at the junior-most level,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d a senior crew member told DNA.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u0153They cannot come back at their old designations. Many of them retired at a salary of Rs1 lakh per month, but now they will be paid Rs40,000-50,000 per month.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<br \/>\nAt present, AI has 2,100 cabin crew and is short-staffed by around 300 people. The ones who have been chosen by the airline have been \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcloyal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 employees of AI for several years.
