Airport Authority of India recruitment alert: Apply for 84 Junior Assistant

Airport Authority of India, AAI has released a recruitment notification for hiring 84 Junior Assistant – Fire Services. The recruitment is only for the northern region. Interested candidates can apply online on airportsindia.org.in. Details for the recruitment, eligibility criteria and other important dates are provided below for your reference.
Please note that the recruitment exercise is only for candidates who have the domicile of Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. A total of 84 vacancies would be filled by this recruitment exercise. The applications opened on September 24, 2017. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website till October 14, midnight. Please note that only online applications would be accepted.
Eligibility: Candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years can apply for the posts. The age would be considered as on October 1, 2017. Candidates would also be required to have a minimum 10th pass certificate with a 3 year diploma in mechanical/ automobile/ or fire with 50 percent or more marks. Alternatively, 12th pass candidates with minimum 50 percent may also apply. Age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category as per the rules. Candidates are also required to possess a valid drivers license – all formats of heavy, medium and light vehicles is acceptable. However, in case of medium vehicles, the drivers license ought to have been issued one year prior to the date of advertisement. The time period for a light motor vehicle drivers license is a minimum of 2 years prior to advertisement. A driving test would be conducted as part of the recruitment exercise.
