Students allege cheating by Aviation Management Institute

Kochi: Students who have been promised BBA and MBA degrees with specialisation in aviation management have been cheated by an institution here. The Aveon Inn Aviation Academy, the franchisee of a Bangalore-based educational institution, has promised business degrees and post-graduate management degrees with specialisation in aviation and airport management to over 10 students on a course fee of Rs 1,30,000. More than half of the students have already paid Rs 27,000 each.
Though the classes were scheduled to begin in August, students complained that not a single class was held till date. The authorities have also not provided uniform and hostel facilities which were promised at the time of admission. But it was the disappearance of the teaching staff that created suspicion among students.
